Persecution and Problems

No one said it was easy to follow Christ. He tells us in this world we will have troubles. We have troubles whether we walk with Him or not. The difference is the amount of troubles and whether we go through them alone or with Him.

We will be persecuted. We will think differently than the world thinks. We may be called names or laughed at. Consider it joy because we are living for the Lord and we will receive our reward. Look at what Christ went through. We should be just like Him and forgive them for they know not what they do. They are not yet understanding God’s perspective. Until they do, they will not see things the same and therefore may do things and say things that may be inappropriate. We should forgive and pray for them.

They are not perfect and we are not perfect. They may still need to accept Jesus as their Savior but they are loved just the same. Allow God to deal with others and let’s do our best when God deals with us.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

If you have had a great 2012, may your 2013 be even greater. If 2012 has not been that great, may 2013 be a year of renewing. God is bigger than any of your problems. Your attitude, outlook and perspective can make all the difference. Don’t allow Satan to defeat you. God can make the difference in how well your year unfolds. May it be joyful, peaceful, hopeful and full of the things that truly satisfy.

If you want this year to be different, you may need to make changes in how you are doing life. You may need to do things differently if you aren’t getting the results you want. If you don’t change how you live, you will keep getting the same results.

Poor decisions bring poor results.

Better decisions bring better results.

Good decisions bring good results.

Make sure you are moving to the right drummer.

What Kind Of Mess Are You Dealing With?

If you have a mess in your life or your life seems to be a total mess, give it all to God. He is the Master of Messes. He wants to fix them and help you to fix them. He would rather have you in your mess than not have you at all. He does not want you to fix your mess and then come to Him. He wants you to come to Him and bring your mess and lay it at His feet to fix. Your mess may keep you from having all God has for you. The messes we make may be bigger than we can handle alone. God is bigger than any mess we have made. He can turn any mess into a Masterpiece. Invite Him into your life and let Him show you what He can do. Let Him turn your ashes into beauty.
