Have You Taken Time To Be Still Lately?

The Most Beautiful Rainbow

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down probably will.
You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it’s harder every time.
You’ll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You’ll fight with your best friend. You’ll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You’ll cry because time is passing too fast, and you’ll eventually lose someone you love.
So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you’ve never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back.
Don’t be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.

Psalm 46:10 (AMP)

10 Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!

Read Mark Gregston’s take on being still in this busy world and the pressures of parenting.

Be still and see the Rainbows, Symbols of God’s Promises.

No this next one is not a duplicate.

It seems like the rainbow pictures are endless just as the Promises that God has for us are also endless. Have you read some of His Promises lately or claimed them in your life?

Are You Still Celebrating?

Hopefully you have celebrated the birth of Christ in the last couple months. If not, you have that opportunity everyday to celebrate. If you don’t have that reason to celebrate, today is the day of salvation. You can have that opportunity to celebrate by accepting Him as your Savior today.

If you have been celebrating, don’t stop now. Keep celebrating. Christ gives us so much to celebrate that everyday has something in it that we can praise Him for. Look for that reason to celebrate. May God Bless You each day during 2013.

The Ultimate Gift

The presents we share is just “stuff”. The important thing is that we love each other. The most important thing is that we love God and love His Son that He gave to us. Jesus continues to be the Ultimate Gift.

Our Heavenly Father, we thank you for today and what we celebrate. We thank you for the gift that you gave that is available to all of us. We pray that we would all be willing to accept that gift and live the life that you created us to live. We ask that today be what you want it to be since it is you that we are celebrating. Help us to celebrate you every day. Amen
